The fix has been verified working by the development team on their GitHub page
I also updated Virtual Audio Cable to version 0.9.8 in my own version of this app (like on my Android phone).

VB-Audio Cables A+B is an external DAC/Amplifier. In order to connect it to your PC with the RCA outputs, you'd need a dual-channel RCA-to-3.5mm converter, such as the VB-Audio Audio Sport/Studio DAC 1.8G with a mono output.
